| | We're getting excited about creating and presenting our first event. Right now we are in the process of lining up another band or two to join us. The event will be at Center Space on Oct 11. Our goal is to unite in an evening of psychedelic musical experimentation and exploration. Everyone will be encouraged to participate- whether it be by wearing a costume, bringing some treats, contributing to a comfortable environment with pillows/blankets... or in any way that seems right. | Welcome to our first monthly "blog" of sorts! In live show news, for good reasons, June and July are light performance months for the Mood Docs. First, we embarked on our true calling as a wedding band, working up versions of Pachelbel's Canon and a reggae-esque Wedding March for Ryan's big day (and he even performed at his own wedding). Secondly, we also began recording our first "studio" tracks. In this case, "studio" refers to the Mood Docs top secret, underground recording module deep beneath the Earth's crust. We have always been curious what our music would sound like if given the chance to polish things a bit, so we thought we'd give it a shot. We look forward to sharing the results with you as soon as they are ready. Until next time, keep on summering!

We're teaming up with Latenight Freakout Odyssey, the finest tribal didg-fueled jamtronica band in Portland, to deliver a musical journey through time and space. | | Soon we'll be infiltrating your most sacred of spaces in pixelated form. The Docs will be on local TV show, Recycled Music NW. The filming is on Feb 10 and it will air shortly after that. We're all getting fancy haircuts and codpieces specifically for this shoot. We'll let you know when and where to tune in! |
